featured story A significant tornado outbreak occured over several states over the weekend. In Oklahoma, the hardest hit was Sweetwater, on the border between Beckham County and Roger Mills County. The high school sustained major damage a week before graduation ceremonies were to be held. The hardest hit in the US, though was Greensburg, Kansas. The nation's first EF5 tornado, and the first F5 since the Bridge Creek/Moore Tornado of May 3, 1999, completely leveled the town, leaving about 1400 people homeless.
