The first major winter storm of the season is expected to form across the Northern Plains and western Great Lakes early tomorrow morning. The storm system will continue to the Northeastern US by Sunday, December 2. HPC models predict as much as a foot of snow from Central Minnesota to New England, as well as a major ice event from Central Iowa to the Mid-Atlantic states. As with all winter storms, travelers should be cautious on the roads and expect delays at airports.
