Here's the Monday blog update giving you a forecast for Dallas, Texas this coming weekend for the Red River Rivalry festivities! The good news is that it looks like there will be plenty of sun and it should be dry. After having to sit through the Idaho State game which featured an extended downpour, the dry weather should be particularly nice! Relative humidities will fall as a cooler, drier air mass settles over the region on the weekend, associated with a surface high pressure. The result will be very comfortable weather conditions. For the "West End" on Friday evening, expect temperatures falling from the mid 60s around dusk to the mid 50s around midnight. The kickoff temperature, at 11AM on Saturday, should be in the low 60s. By the end of the game it should be up around 70 degrees under sunny skies! No rain expected for the drive back on Sunday, just plenty of sun and highs warming up into the 70s along I-35.
