The extremes will occur in the northwestern and southern parts of the state. Temperatures will take a short dive as a cold front passes through the area decreasing the average about 5 to 10 degrees. With the cool, dry air will come mostly sunny skies across the state. Winds will stay manageable over the next five days, with a rather gusty day occurring over the forecasting area this Monday.
